My thoughts: The amount of awesomeness packed into these two episodes is beyond imagination. It's incredible how they build to the climax at the end and show Saitama's endless power. Even though it's a parody it doesn't stop me as a viewer from enjoying the anime and accepting it as part of something great. When I say something awesome, I mean the next Dragon Ball and other incredible animes. It is clear to rational thinkers that many elements such as character designs (Boros etc) are similar to and influenced by Dragon Ball.
But what makes it so different one might ask yourself: just observing the amount of detail given in the fight sequences will tell you that 'One Punch Man' is a serious anime (in some ways). Dragon Ball is nostalgic and has a great history and character development behind the series and a punch man needs to get more years to reach the status of DB. What I'm trying to say is that the detail that One Punch Man puts into the fight scenes is far beyond what any other anime has achieved or attempted... it's a masterpiece... and that's what gives this anime a 9 out of 10.
He destroys all his enemies with one punch and mocks them as if they were nothing. But it still doesn't get boring and that's why this anime is a great success. Make the details look great and the fight sequences beyond comprehension, mix it with a taste of humor/comedy and you've got the perfect anime (action fan) in my eyes. Just watch the episode where Saitama fights Genos and you'll get the perfect picture of why this anime is amazing (there's a YouTube video of that scene).
