Leo
Review :Lokesh Kanagaraj has once again proven his mettle in filmmaking. His name alone is enough to make you have a unique experience at the cinema. The single shot fight sequence in the factory left me completely speechless! I applaud Lokesh for his efforts in pushing the boundaries of Tamil cinema.
Vijay really needs a round of applause for his performance and I really appreciate that he agreed to do it Lokesh's way. I never imagined that Vijay would pull off some things as these would not be in his usual films.
Throughout the film you can see the hard work of the crew be it cinematography, editing or CGI. And the expected results are top notch. Anirudh's score has received a lot of mediocre reviews. Although it is not up to the mark, I really liked the score made for Arjun and Sanjay Dutt. It is kind of underrated in my opinion.
After watching David Cronenberg's A History of Violence, I know the twists, turns and whatnot. Despite this, I thoroughly enjoyed Leo. While I agree that the slave brothers weren't scary enough and the flashback potion was poorly written, it's not something that would keep you from enjoying the film.
